The staff of this park were outstanding. Everyday they stopped by just to make sure everything was going well or if we needed anything.

This is a great resort for families, pets, singles, girls trips, guys trips, and all ages.

Spring was upon us once again in Michigan. That means one thing only, getting online and setting up reservations at some of the upscale resorts around Michigan. They are few and far between and if you are lax in your efforts you will find yourself sitting home on the weekends instead of enjoying your motorhome. I heard about Sunnybrook and talked to Jim Horan several times on the phone. I suggested to my husband that we spend a weekend in South Haven to see what the resort was all about. Being the strong willed Italian that he is, there were no negotiations. He adamantly refused to go there. I continued to ask because finding a nice spot to stay was increasingly difficult. Finally, around late July he gave into my nagging ways and reluctantly packed up the motorhome and we headed for South Haven.

He entered the resort with a closed mind and when we found out that there was an error in the reservation and someone had actually purchased the lot we were going to stay on, he felt that he was justified in his original assumption. Within minutes, Beth and Jim Horan came over to us and apologized. Tony thought he would throw her off course and said he wanted a free night because of the inconvenience. She immediately said alright and in fact added another day. This was a Friday in July. We pulled out of the park in late October. In the first week we fell in love with the resort, the people, the town, and purchased a beautiful lot on the water. Our neighbors are full timers and they also purchased a lot. We worked on landscaping the balance of the summer and had a great time singing, sunning and running around.

You may ask, “What happened to that husband of yours?” He not only fell in love with Jim and Beth, but he is now working in sales with them. If you come to visit he will be greeting you and telling his story first hand. Last week we thought about how lucky we are that we no longer have to book sights in the spring. We have found our summer home right here at Sunnybrook RV Resort.

We are the Dieterle’s, the first to purchase a Park Model at Sunny Brook Resort. Sunny Brook is a beautiful property and it’s plentiful amenities, such as the heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, game room, are just a few of the reasons we joined their ‘family’. The club house offers spacious areas for entertaining guests, or just sitting around with other resort visitors to watch a football game.

The staff at Sunny Brook are the Best we’ve experienced, and we have many years of experience. They offer many planned activities for all ages, making it perfect when our grandkids come to visit. Their hospitality and kindness make them the type of people you want to share your weekends with. The town of South Haven has a lot to offer, however, staying right there at Sunny Brook is all you need.

Sunny Brook RV Resort is just what the name states . . . RV Resort! When you combine a great Southwest Lake Michigan port town like South Haven and a first class RV Resort, you have the best in an RVing experience. South Haven is a great area to spend the summer with beautiful sand dunes, area wineries and other great Lake Michigan port towns within 20 miles to shop and enjoy good food.

The Resort has fully paved interior roads with generous cement pads with fire pits, full hookup and Wifi. The pool is big and well maintained. The clubhouse is outstanding! It has everything you can ask for in a clubhouse including a bar area, pool table, internet area with computers, a big living room with a stone fireplace and flat screen TV. What more can we say? By the way, the lake has a beach area with a volleyball court.

We live in northern Illinois and now that we have discovered Sunny Brook RV Resort, we have given up traveling north to Wisconsin or other Midwest areas. We go to Sunny Brook at least two or three times a month and some day we'll spend the whole summer there.

We also want to point out Sunny Brook's hospitality. Jim and Beth Horan, Dustin, and RJ all go out of their way to insure your stay is a pleasant one. Great people!

The Dubachs

We are very excited about our new lot at Sunnybrook RV resort. We were looking at a lot at the Traverse City RV resort and were happy to find a park that is equally as nice and much closer to our home in Downers Grove, Ill. We intend to use our lot and motor home as a summer get away residence. We could not be happier with the park. It is beautiful, well run by great folks and is just what we were looking for. We are also very enamored with the town of South Haven.

A great place to invest in – we came for a month and ended up buying a lot on the lake and stayed three months. What sold us was the friendliness of the people running it and the people we met, along with the reasonable price. We love it and look forward to spending our summers and having our grandchildren visit from South Bend and Chicago.
